The start of the school holidays has never been such a celebration! This year we are also gathering to mark the 7th birthday of the „Safe Playgrounds“ association, to have fun and be active outdoors WITHOUT WASTE.
What can all the children and parents expect, who have long been dreaming of the holidays and now have a real reason to celebrate, as well as a bit more time together before the kids head off to the countryside?
Real sporting, culinary, creative, and intellectual adventures await them:
- Rugby
- Scout adventure
- Brazilian jiu-jitsu and boxing
- Athletics and fitness for kids
- Tightrope walking
- Climbing
- Archery
- Cooking workshop
- Art workshop
- Workshop „How a radio show is made“ with Radio Sofia
- Group reading with „Knigovishte“
- Lecture „How to stay safe online“
- Presentation of the first reusable notebooks in Bulgaria
Right at the start, we mentioned WITHOUT WASTE. This is the motto of the event, which turns out to be the first zero-waste sports event in Sofia.
In this regard, on site there will be a Bottle-Eater – a large metal structure shaped like a bottle, where we will collect plastic bottles up to 3 liters.
Important for the Bottle-Eater – crush your bottles before placing them in the structure. This saves space and prepares them for recycling.
The „Safe Playgrounds“ association has also prepared a charity bazaar with handmade toys in support of three important causes:
- The treatment of Radost
- More play equipment for children with disabilities
- Support for an organization protecting victims of domestic violence
Of course, there will be no shortage of treats and snacks for young and old, because after so much sport, you get hungry.
