Банер за рибено масло Rosita Rosita - рибено масло

Nature is our technology

The Rosita Company is located on Donna Island in Northern Norway, where the deep fjords have some of the cleanest ocean waters in the world. Thanks to strict quotas, protection of spawning grounds, and environmental protection agreements signed with the Russian government over the past fifteen years, the Atlantic cod population in Norway has reached pre-World War II levels and continues to grow each year. The Rosita family has a long history, inheriting the skills and knowledge of Scandinavian fishermen in utilizing the surrounding waters. Historically, there is evidence of the medicinal properties of Atlantic cod liver oil. Moreover, it has made Norway world-famous — the Mecca of fish oil production.

  • Fishing for the fish

The Rosita company is located on Donna Island in Northern Norway. They use traditional fishing rods — no trawls or aggressive methods. Only healthy livers are used in production.

  • Oil Extraction

The method is inspired by ancient Vikings — the change in temperature and pressure when the fish is removed from the water leads to the natural release of oil. No heat, mechanical pressure, solvents, or chemicals are ever used.

  • Filtration from pollutants

It uses an all-natural ocean-based biopolymer that binds to contaminants and removes them from the oil. No heat, chemicals or vacuum are used. The method has been validated by the Norwegian Institute of Food, Fisheries and Aquaculture Research and Stockholm University.
