Fish oil is extracted from the tissues of oily fish. Cod is the most suitable fish as it contains a high concentration of Omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA - docosahexaenoic acid and eicosapentaenoic acid. Our body is able to produce most of the fats we need, but this is not true for DHA and EPA. We only get them through food and food supplements. DHA and EPA are also called "marine" fatty acids because we find them mainly in fish.

Natural fat-soluble vitamins A and D3 are also a valuable component of fish oil. Vitamin A (retinol) is key for good vision, and vitamin D3 is the most effective form of vitamin D.

Origin of Rosita Fish Oil

Rosita is a family company located on the island of Donna in Northern Norway, where deep fjords still boast some of the purest ocean waters in the world.

The North Atlantic cod (Gadus morhua) population in Norway continues to grow each year due to strict regulations for maintaining water purity and environmental protection.

The Rosita family is an old family, descendants of Scandinavian fishermen. The family tradition remains alive today, and the method of catching Atlantic cod used by the company is strict and gentle.

A core principle of Rosita, which is strictly adhered to: before entering the production process, the liver of every caught North Atlantic cod is inspected. If there are doubts about its health and quality, it is removed and does not become part of the final product.

What's remarkable about Rosita is that only 48 hours pass from the moment the fish is caught to the moment the fish oil is bottled.

Catching and extracting fish oil
Ancient Vikings observed an interesting phenomenon when catching fish such as cod, chimaera, shark, etc. When freshly caught fish is brought ashore by fishermen, its liver is immediately removed. Then something interesting happens: the oil begins to separate naturally from the liver. Today, we certainly know the reason – the sharp change in temperature and pressure when the fish is pulled from the ocean depths to the shore.

Rosita revives this ancient and simple practice of extracting fish oil from the liver of North Atlantic cod. The process is simple but can only be applied to freshly caught fish pulled directly from very cold waters.
The nature of the Rosita fish oil production process excludes the use of heat, mechanical pressure, solvents, or chemicals.

Filtering contaminants in Rosita fish oil
Each batch of Rosita fish oil (EVCLO) passes through its own filtering system that removes contaminants without using heat and chemicals. The filtration technology is as natural and gentle as the oil extraction method discovered by the ancient Vikings.

It involves a specific type of biological polysaccharide that forms naturally in the ocean and can be found in some marine organisms. This polysaccharide has two valuable qualities:

  1. It has antimicrobial and antioxidant effects;
  2. It has the property of attaching to organic pollutants and proteins, after which it can be removed as a solid protein mass.

The effectiveness of Rosita's filtering technology was confirmed by a two-year pilot study conducted by the Norwegian Institute of Food, Fisheries and Aquaculture Research. Subsequently, the method was optimized based on the results of a research project in collaboration with the University of Stockholm.

Adding antioxidants to Rosita fish oil (EVCLO)

Due to the lack of natural vitamin E in cod liver oil, it quickly goes rancid. Antioxidants are necessarily added to prevent oxidation of the finished product.

After consultations with leading researchers and universities, Rosita created a comprehensive program for adding natural antioxidants to cod liver oil. The entire process took 2 years. The company uses the antioxidant properties of organic rosemary and organic vitamin E in a special proportion that guarantees the product's freshness during transport, storage, and consumption.

Contaminant Tests
Each batch of Rosita fish oil is tested for organic contaminants (including pesticides), manufacturing chemicals (polychlorinated biphenyls - PCBs), by-products of the manufacturing process (dioxins, furans), heavy metals, and microbiological contamination.

Rosita uses a number of leading European institutes for testing its products, including the "Institute of Aquaculture" at the University of Stirling, Scotland, as well as a number of independent Norwegian laboratories and institutions with extensive experience in marine raw materials and products.

  • Препоръчителна дневна доза:Екстра-върджин рибено масло от треска - EVCLO: 1 ч. л. дневно (5мл.);  Рибено масло от треска – EVCLO Softgels - Капсули: от 3 до 6 капсули (500mg всяка) 

    • Бебета над 9 месеца: започва се с една капка на ден и постепенно се стига до максимум 1/8 чаена лъжичка (0,625 мл) 
    • Деца от 1 до 3 годинки: започва се няколко капки на дена и постепенно се стига до 1/8 – 1/4 чаена лъжичка (1,25 мл) 
    • Деца от 3 до 5 годинки: започва се с 1/8 чаена лъжичка и постепенно се стига до 1/2 чаена лъжичка (2,5 мл) 
    • Деца от 5 до 12 години: започва се с 1/4 чаена лъжичка, като дозата постепенно се увеличава, докато стигне 2/3 чаена лъжичка (3,3 мл) 
    • Тийнейджъри: започва се с 1/4 и се увеличава до максимум 1 чаена лъжичка (5 мл) 

    *при деца под 6-годишна възраст се препоръчва течната форма на рибено масло Rosita. 

  • Течното рибено масло трябва да се съхранява на тъмно и студено място. Срокът на годност е различен при видовете съхранение:
    във фризер: 3 години
    в хладилник: 1 година
    след отварянето му: 3 месеца.

    *Това не важи за капсулите.

  • Срокът на годност е различен според начина на съхранение: ако се съхранява във фризер, без да е отворено, рибеното масло има срок на годност до 3 години. Ако се съхранява в хладилник, без да е отворено, рибеното масло има срок на годност до 1 година. След отварянето на бутилката, при правилното ѝ съхранение, срокът на годност е 3 месеца. 

  • Rosita EVCLO не ферментира. Това е така, благодарение специфичния древен метод на извличане, в резултат на който се получава прясно, диво и сурово масло от черен дроб на треска. 

  • С Rosita EVCLO няма нужда да се прави прекъсване. Маслото е 100% натурално и няма опасност от предозиране.
