RealFood's personal story
Our story began in 2016 when we struggled to find and purchase quality fish oil for our daughter, who at the time needed to get Omega-3 fatty acids. As workers in the private sector, we decided that we will try to make the best fish oil - Rosita EVCLO, available on the Bulgarian market.
Today, the RealFood company is recognizable throughout Bulgaria. Rosita fish oil continues to be the leader among fish oils on the market. It has helped hundreds of people to boost their immune system and concentration. The product we created, RealFood hydrolyzed collagen is part of the routine of many Bulgarian women over 30. It takes care of their beauty from the inside out, moisturizing the skin, strengthening the hair and nails and strengthening the cartilage of the joints. Increasingly, collagen is recommended for healthier and brighter skin in many beauty salons, thanks to our collaboration with experts in the field.
The true story
It all started in 2016, when we, Kremena and Pavel, faced the challenge of finding the best fish oil rich in Omega-3 fatty acids for our daughter Simona, who was one year old at the time. The little one did not accept to drink powdered milk and Kremena's breastfeeding was not enough for the baby's needs. During the research, we realized how difficult it is to find natural, high-quality nutritional supplements in Bulgaria. Then we came across Rosita EVCLO, the highest quality fish oil, produced from free-caught cod. So we decided that we would try to introduce it to allow other mothers and women to have access to high quality care.
With small steps and a lot of effort, the RealFood company has gradually become a point of reference among the supporters of a healthy lifestyle in Bulgaria and those who choose pure fish oil. From the beginning of its creation, RealFood has been driven by its customers. Gradually the store's product range grew with more high quality products that you can only find from us. In the majority of them, our products are recommended by the customers themselves, based on their experiences with food supplements they have bought from foreign countries. In addition to Rosita Fish Oil, Great Lakes Hydrolyzed Collagen has, over time, also established itself as a favorite product, among the top 3 hydrolyzed collagens in the world.
How RealFood hydrolyzed collagen was created, the product that has helped thousands of people deal with hair loss, joint pain and skin problems
In 2021, rumors began to circulate that the small American family business Great Lakes will be bought by a much larger one. We were seriously worried about what would happen to the most wanted product in our store, what would be its quality, whether we could get certain quantities and how the shipments to Bulgaria would be made. The Great Lakes company has stopped shipping to Europe from time to time because of the American origin and other difficulties of all kinds. Our worries were not unfounded and our insomnia gave us an answer, the idea to create our own collagen product was born.
At first we didn't know exactly how this would be accomplished, but as we began to look, the answers came by themselves. Careful research brought us into contact with one of the world's largest collagen producers and after getting to know them in depth, we decided this was our opportunity. A large company that could guarantee the quality of the raw material, that had access to the pastures where free-range cattle are raised and there are sufficient funds to conduct laboratory tests with the collagen.
We started working in this direction and so in October 2021 RealFood hydrolyzed collagen appeared on the market, which immediately became a favorite of our customers. They share with us their experiences, about how the supplement has become an integral part of their daily life and is their faithful helper in various problems. It comes from free-range cattle that graze in purely ecological areas of Brazil. Our collagen effectively helps against hair loss, against the wear and tear of nails, it also helps with hydration, skin repair and has a positive effect on articular cartilage damage.
